Almost lost all my CSS and little journal extras like MOARCat there because NoScript thought it would block all XSS from deviantart - there is no way to add it to the "always allows XSS" list either, not as far as I could see.

Anyway, the journal I had wrote started with:

Grr, still angry that NoScript never lets me have control. I've had to disable now - I think it caused more problems than malicious javascript uses it blocked - stupid thing.

The last time I did a journal was before my birthday.

Can't remember the last time I submitted a deviation either.

But today, I have done both.

Not saying much. You don't really care what I got for Christmas, do you?

DVDs, Sweets, Smellies, Clothes - basically sums it up.

I'm getting a new car.

A Seat Leon 1.6 Stylance. Going to the dealership on Tuesday to discuss finance. I'll get £4500 for my 4 year old Toyota Yaris. So with some of that as a deposit to reduce monthly payments, I'll get a cheque back for a lump sum - probably either £1500 or £2000, depending on how much I want to pay a month.

I'm excited. I love my Yaris, but it's time for a change since I've had it for 4 years.

FYI, the "Doodles" of the title are because of the doodles I made while on the phone to Toyota finance.

Not much else to say, except MOAR badminton tonight. Another 2 are coming with us, so it'll be doubles. Bought a new racquet today - since the grip of my old one (which hadn't been used for 8 years) kinda disintegrated after it came into contact with sweat last week.

I was going to find some grip tape and give my old racquet to Marc, but they had a sale on, so I bought both of us a racquet...and some shuttles, after we had to play with the shoddy mangled one from the leisure centre last week.

Done? Yup.

Last night, I played Badminton for the first time in 8 years. And this morning I am aching - although only around my thighs and arse, which isn't as bad as I had expected. I guess lifting washing machines all day at work has at least toned my arms up.

It was good fun, even though I got beat in every game - including the "Ruler of the Universe" match at the end.

Ah well, it has been 8 years...

I finally finished my 7-day straight at work, so now I can relax for 3 days. I've got plans tomorrow and a test drive on Sunday (see previous journal) but today I don't have to do anything except pop out later and get my car washed, and probably get lunch while I'm at it.

I like days like this.
